I have a Hikvision DS-7216HGHI and for the past few months has been missing gaps in recording, so in ivms it will jump randomly.
It tends to have bigger missed blocks during the night with no movement, but is still quite random as even though there is activity some blocks will be missed during the day. 13 cameras and they all have missing blocks.
Not sure what hard drive is in it, but it was replaced about a year ago - is there a way to check...

I added stereo speakers to my Hikvision DS-7208HQHI for alarm purpose. Unfortunately I don’t hear any sound when its fired.
I checked manual many times and all settings even restart device but still no progress...
Speaker itself works fine. It does make sound when wrong pass typed.

Does anyone know if there is a detailed 'How to' page/video anywhere that shows how to set up iVMS4500 or iVMS4200 on an Android phone.
I thought that I had followed carefully the instructions that I have found but, I always get a 'Connection Failed' message
My cameras are connected directly to my NVR and so I am using that IP address to enter into the configuration of iVMS app.
Any thoughts anyone?

Hi,
I'm having a problem with false alarms on the Hik-Connect mobile app originating from DS-7216HQHI-F1/N.
This manifests itself as a push notification, say a line-crossing, but when you press the button for playback, there is no recorded video, also using iVMS desktop app or direct to the DVR I find that there is NO event or video recorded in the DVR itself, in fact if I play through the VCA events I can see that each one has a genuine cause for the event.

Greetings!
I'm not seeing where I'd be able to configure the local NVR output remotely? DS-9632. I have some local system settings in terms of resolution for the different HDMI/VGA ports. But I want to be able to configure which cameras are being displayed and in what order?
I've seen that this can be done with video wall devices and decoders through iVMS, but I'm not seeing that this is possible for the standard NVR output? We're hoping to be able to figure this out as we want to...
Is it possible to remotely configure the live view HDMI output for NVR?

Hi
I just received my Hikvision NVR + 2 Hikvision cameras.
I have only one problem:
I set up motion detection for specific times that will trigger alarm output to an external siren.
The thing is that there are some days that I am staying home so i don't want the alarm to work.
I could not find an easy way (from the phone) to disable all the alarms, one click.
I really do not want to enter to web client system and disable from there I need my wife and kids to do it also.

Is it possible to get a Non HikVision camera to display on iVMS-4500 viewer? just a local LAN connection needed....
I've got 5 Hikvision cameras that display fine in iVMS-4500, but would like to add one Non-HikVision camera (An older TrendNet Camera)
Does a tutorial on this exist?

Hi,
I've set up my new components which include a DS-7716NI-I4 / 16P, 3x DS-2CD2645FWD-IZS bullets and 1x DS-2CD2H45FWD-IZS turret (for now). Everything seems to be working well, however there is one problem with live view.
I am able to view all cameras and playback streams directly from the NVR web interface within the latest Google Chrome web browser, however, when I want to manage my cameras using the virtual host function of the NVR, and I log into each camera a small window appears...
Live view failed when accessing IP cameras from Chrome Linux, NVR live view works.

Hi,
I got a stream video CORS issue in Chrome if without using "--disable-web-security" flag.
Hence, Have you enabled CORS headers in Hikvision?
Do you have any suggestions to fix this CORS issues if without using this flag?

Hi everyone,
i have a HUHI K2 8 Channel Recorder installed on a customer. He has 2 HDTVI Cams on it, and 2 IP Cams.
He has the latest 4.x Firmware installed.
When my customer want to download the recorded scenes from the recorder with usb stick, he is running sometimes in trouble, that the files wont download to the usb stick. The HDTVI cams download works fine, but from the ip cams that wont work.
It only works fine when i put laptop in the network and using ivms4200 to download all...

I use 4 x G1 Series cameras (minidomes and cube) that save data to NAS. All used to work fine but after upgrading to firmware V5.5.83 I noticed all video files are saved into one folder only. All other folders / disks where camera has access are never updated - they are all 0 size.
I added 3x network shares (NAS) for each camera - 3x 200GB. When camera initializes the disks it creates folders/files structure on each disk correctly. But the files are never written to any other location...

Hi all, I have a Hikvision DS-7716 NI 14/16P NVR and half a dozen of DS-2CD2755FWD-IZS (5MP) cameras hooked up to it and I am getting a very poor image resolution from them. Worse than I get from a 2MP HiLook camera hooked up to the same NVR viewed through the same monitor. Config issue? Any suggestions?

I have a DS-2CD2665G0-IZS which uploads to an SFTP site however as a backup it also has an internal SD card but these then need manually uploading and the file name changing, I can SSH onto the camera but cant see any useful commands to get to the files or download them, Has anyone done this before?

Ive managed to update the firmware on my cameras, however when i check the NVR firmware im confused.
Checking via the NVR 4.0 GUI indicates ive the latest ( v4.1.63 )
when i search online via the EU portal i see
V4.21.008 build190625 there ?

I'm trying to help my school setup a ds-7716ni and DS-2cd2345FWD-I cameras.
We have it all working internally but I cannot get hik-connect to work.
The DVR continually says it's offline. I have asked our Network guys to open the following ports to the DVR:
HTTP Port = 80
Server Port = 8000
RTSP Port = 554
HTTPS Port = 443
The DVR should have access to litedev.hik-connect.com and dev.hikconnect.com but the DVR still shows as "offline" under Platform access.
Am I missing any ports or steps...

When I scanned my HIKvision DVR to connect, it says , 'this device already been addred by another account'.
I tried to unbind it. But it gives an error ' operation failed 9999' , while entering the admin passwd and captcha code.
I logged in to the hik-connect site and there is no device connected to that account.
I installed sapd in my computer , and it shows my device as online.I tried to unbind it from there also, but it also failed , showing a 'server internal error'.
I cleared all...
