I have a Hikvision DS-9632NI-I8 which I bought secondhand and it doesn't have the HDD mounting rails that screw to the side of the HDD to fit them so I was wondering if I can just install them using the spare power connectors that are inside and unplug the red leads which I assume are the data leads from the rack mount and connect directly to the HDD? Sorry if this doesn't make a lot of sense!!!
