Missing attachments for email notifications Hikvision DS-7716N-E4/16P

Hi I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on an issue I am having with the above NVR. I have managed to receive alert and event notifications over email such as motion detect etc. The problem I am having is I am not getting screenshots or attachments of the event. Under configuration > network >advanced settings I have selected attached image with interval 5 sec but I am not getting the attachment, just the notification.

I am accessing NVR over web interface and everything...

Hi guys,

Recently installed Hikvision dvr system.
Turbo.
Along with 4 x 2.4mp dome camera's.

Issue im having is the image doesnt seem as sharp as i would like.
Im quite savvy when it comes to IT, but going through the on screen system menu offers little.
Adjusting sharpness doesnt help. In the PTZ section, focus doesnt adjust.

The image isnt to bad, just not as sharp as i would expect.
Have set to 25fps but not adjusted any other settings.

I'm new woth hickvison. I just bought an brand new IP Cam DS-2CD2442FWD-IW with the following firmware:

The firmware seems up-to-date (it not so easy to find current version on different Hickvison server)

First it seems, that the plugins for current chrome and firefox versions doesn't work (I tried to install it, but all tries fail).

Hi All,

Question 1

This has probably been covered numerous times but I hope somebody can help me.

I purchased a HIK Vision DVR - Model: DS-7208HQHI-F2/N/A0820161118CCWR******WCVU from a user on eBay, it is password locked and the guy who sold it to me says he can't remember the password, I have also checked on Hik Connect and it says it is registered to another user, which I presume must be him!

My question is, if he can't remember the password then is the DVR not useable?

I have bought 2 cameras for license plate recognition and i have notice differences with Fps:

in model DS-2CD4A26FWD-IZHS/P i can set 50FPS
but in model DS-2CD4A26FWD-IZHS the FPS is limited to 25 (Firmware version: V5.4.5 build 170302 (latest as on Hikvision newsletter of november)

I can't find information about this difference.
I know that with /P the model is for ANPR, but also without /P the ANPR is available and working.
If in the model wihtout /P i set "Smart Event"...

Hi
I have Hikvision DS7608NI K2 8P Nvr and works just fine. I am trying to configure it to a Nas and cloud storage but it just doesn't work.

Cloud storage - I just don't get this option in storage management. Am I running an older firmware of this NVR and how do I upgrade if I am. The firmware it has is 3.4.97 build 171031.

NAS - Is there a way it can store just pics or alarm in the Nas and not everything? Also do I really need to for at my Nas as I am using it as a shared Nas and dont...

hi everyone i need some help i have a hikvision set with 8 cameras, all set up and working for a few years, from friday evening we cannot see any images at all, both using the app, just saying connection failed. I did try connecting a monitor up via VGM and that wont show a picture at all. Im assuming its the DVR not working, but without buying another its hard to figure out if its that.



i have the hikvison DS-7208-HWI and using IVMS 4500 app on my phone.

HiK Connect app causes NVR to report Illegal Login

I have just setup the Hik Connect app. I am able to connect to cameras on the NVR and view the live view, however, every time I do the NVR reports illegal Login


I know the password is correct as if i enter an incorrect one it wont let me view the camera at all


Any ideas

Hi All,
I don't know if the configuration exists but I have not come across the ability to display feeds in correct Aspect Ratio, regardless if it is monitor via HDMI to NVR, IVMS 4200 on PC via LAN or in Android app.

Has anyone worked out how to do this?

Hi

I have a slew of cctv cameras and have just switched to Hik Vision EXIR turret but hard wired to router - their software is almost impossible to navigate for a newbie and Hik Connect has killed my phone's responsiveness - I have a Cammy subscription which my previous camera recorded to but CAmmy set up cannot 'see' the Hik Vision camera at all even though its hard wired to the router - any help in plain english gratefully received - thanks

Connect remote camera to NVR

Hi, everyone.
I need to connect the several remote IP-cameras (Hikvision DS-2CD2020F-I) to NVR (Hikvision DS-7104NI-SN) through the Internet.
The cameras have "grey" IP-addresses. NVR may have "white" IP-address. NVR is located before wifi-router.
Could I do this? How can I do this?

Hikvision NVR Plate Search issue

Hi all,

I have a DS-7616NI-I2/16P NVR and a DS-2CD4A26FWD-IZS/P camera to capture number plates.

The camera is capturing number plates fine and I can see the last 20 by logging into the camera via a browser. In the NVR though, only 20% to 30% of the plates can be found from the plate search option.

I can see all the recording in the NVR using playback, but the plate search is not showing all the still images and recordings for the date range set.

There is no other filter apart from the...
