Sd Card and ftp?
I have the facility to fit an SD card to my Hikvision camera.
What I can't seem to find is any information which confirms one way or another if you can schedule timed snapshots to ftp (which I'm doing at the moment), but also to duplicate those samu files on the SD card.
If anyone can confirm I'd be grateful.

i have a NVE HIKVISION 7108N-SN ,and a smart ptz camera
the nvr detect my small camera as onvif but when i put admin and pass,i get permanent connecting......and no picture.
i think it 's onvif version compatibility!

Unable to playback recordings from Nvr
Hi,
Am a newbie here, having some trouble with playback from my nvr, I've listed the details below. My problem is I can playback the videos off both my cameras up until sunrise then I just keep getting an message saying 'connection unstable'
DS-7608NI-K2-8P
2 cameras DS-2CD2T55FWD-I5
Everything else seems to be up and running fine, I can access the nvr from 4g etc via the router and IP address, and both cameras on home network or off it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

"Corridor view" on iVMS-4500 app: does it work properly?

I've got an Hikvision camera (DS-2CD2442FWD ) physically rotated by 90° in order to capture a vertical space instead of an horizontal one as i.e. a landscape could be.
I properly setup the rotation into the configuration and I can see the camera into iVMS-4500 software. The only problem is that the iVMS-4500 is compressing the vertical resolution (squeezing the picture on the vertical line) while, if I rotate the smartphone (in landscape position), it expands horizontally the picture...

DS-2CD2355FWD-I HTTP MJPEG & Base64 auth
Hey Guys,
I'm running a few Hikvision DS-2CD2355FWD-I (Firmware V5.5.61 build 180718) cameras and wanting to connect to the MJPEG stream using the http preview url. I've verified the URL is correct but when i use the integrated base64 auth it still prompts for a username and password
I've seen suggestions that this feature is broken in later versions of the firmware.
Any suggestions?

Hikvision and Motion Scrambling

i dont find anything for the function Motion Scrambling with Hikvision Products. Only with 3rd Party Software is this possible. Any ideas why hikvision dont support that function? Or is there another function with the same target like motion scrambling?

Please update your firmware to the latest available version
I'm making this plea again, because every day we continue to get calls and enquiries about "odd" issues, features "not working", cameras "gone faulty", cameras that have "gone offline", no longer being able to see video in my App, on my Mac, in IVMS-4200, in my browser, etc.
95% of those callers own HikVision systems.
50% of those callers are what you might term disbelieving when told they need to update their firmware.

Hikvision have recently begun to use letters with their camera and NVR serial numbers.
Up until now, the nine-digit serial numbers have included only numbers.
This nine-digit code is shown on the label attached to your Hikvision device AND on the product box (important to know it is also on the box label if you have already put the ladders away![;)]( "Wink ;)")

It is clearly marked on the label as 'Serial No.:'
We have seen some issues arising from entering these serial numbers with letters...

Firmware for DS-8664NI-I8
Hi there,
I've just purchased an 64 channel DS-8664NI-I8 for my company and set it up.
I've searched the official hikvision sites (eu, tr and us) for any firmware but it's not listed on their site.
My current firmware version is v4.1.54 build 180621.
After a while found this ftp;

ivms-4500 3g/4g problem
So I've a DS-8664NI-I8 nvr.
I've correctly port forwared the 80, 554 and 8000 ports from my router.
And from my home connection and I can use ivms-4200 to connect my nvr in my company and it's all working okay.
yet again i can also use ivms-4500 mobile version to connect it -- but only when my phone is connected to a wifi connection. both tried this in ios and android -- same for both. when i try to to connect using a 3g/4g connection, it just doesn't connect.
tried changing my rtsp port...

The tread title is what you will see at Hikvision's Hik-Connect portal if it is unable to find your Hikvision device online.

First reports are coming in that with this version of Safari it is no longer possible to view Live Video from your Hikvision cameras.
The latest version of the Mac plugin currently available is V3.0.6.23 (on that landing page click Downloads at the left side; this version is dated Feb 12th 2018) - this is the latest version of the plugin we can find...

Im considering upgrading my current DS-7608NI-I2-8P 8CH 3TB nvr to a Deepinmind DS-9632NXI-I8/16S 12MP with 8TB storage.
I understand I will need a Powered 32 channel POE switch to feed the new NVR.
So is it worth it and what are the benefits to a home user

This is a strange one but here goes.
I have HIK nvr and one camera.
I can access this camera and nvr no problems on all devices, laptop, android phones with the exception of one single device.
My fire tablet has stopped connecting to the camera/nvr to get live view and recorded video. All other devices are still fine. This tablet was previously working without fail for couple of years.
Ive deleted all software on the tablet ivms, hik connect e.t.c.
Re-installed various flavours of the ivms...

My Hikvision NVR has both HDMI & VGA connections, can I connect two monitors to my NVR?
This question gets asked a lot and we have always assumed that as the larger Pro NVRs (9600 Series) have 2 x VGA & 2 x HDMI that they were the only models that would support any kind of multi-screen setup.
Today we did some tests with a selection of demo NVRs we have in our office to see if it was possible to connect two monitors to an NVR that only had 1 x VGA & 1 x HDMI, below are our findings from testing K-series & I-series NVRs
