Hello.

Thanks to the help of this forum I managed to get some problems I have with the installation already solved. So glad I found this forum.

I still have some problems with the email settings, but am afraid to make an update as this is a Chinese version unfortunately.

But for now I have another issue and wonder if someone can help, or I just try something impossible.

I record 24/7 the attached cameras. But at the same time I would like to get a special recording when any...

Hi, I have a Hikvision DS-7608NI-E2 / 8P/A NVR with 4 x 4mp cameras connected. I am trying to disable the poe function but cannot see a way to turn it off, can you help please?

Unable to connect to camera's IP

Hi,

I cannot connect to my camera's IP through the web browser. I use to be able to do this but not sure what has changed.

In the box connect, there use to be a link that would let me log into each Camera, now it is gone. I have tried using each IP for the Camera's in my browser but it just fails to load page!?!?

Long time stalker and now finally joined.

Gidday...

Has anyone had success with the lexar 633x 64GB for DS-2CD2x42FWD series cameras?
Don't want to drop $100 for three and end up not being usable.

The tested/compatible list provided by the manufacturer is not that great.
• Kingston: 4G/8G/16G/32G/64G/128G
• Sandisk: 4G/8G/16G/32G/64G/128G
• Transcend: 4G/8G/16G/32G/64G
• Samsung: 4G/8G/16G/32G/64G

No video signal from cam

I've just installed a HikVision DS-2CE16D0T-IT5 outside my house. I can't get a video signal from it back to my Samsung DVR. I've had another camera on the same cable and it works fine. I've also had my ammeter in circuit and I can see it's drawing 90mA which is about 1 watt. So I know something is happening in there.

How can I troubleshoot this?

I have the Hikvision DS-7608NI-E2-8P and trying to log into it via the IP address using Safari on a Mac. I have downloaded and installed the Mac plugin and made sure it is active.
The web page comes up with login name and password but I have tried my superuser details and it's having none of it and threatening to block me if I get it wrong too many times

I'm using Hik-Connect on my iphone and iVMS-4500HD on the iPad and the superuser login works fine.

Any ideas

Hi guys, an outline for you.

I have a DS-2CD2142FWD-I which I was using connected to my NAS - all good.

I decided to get an NVR an expand my setup (DS-7608NI-E2 / 8P/A) however things have not gone well!

I cannot get the live view to work from the NAS for the camera despite downloading numerous plugins etc. It's not working on my primary computer (Mac) nor 2 Windows machines (7 & 10) all on various browsers. They just show a dark grey box. The live view seems to work on my iPhone using...

I am using iMVS-4200 latest version and have a problem when viewing the cameras in daytime.
If I use the standard 6 view (1 main and 5 mini images), the main image often will not appear, or if it does the image is frozen at a point in time. All cameras are being monitored using Mainstream and I assumed that this was the problem and attempted to change the camera views to substream. After making the change, it confirms that the configuration has been saved, but when I check back it is on...

Hi

My Hikvision dvr is currently wired to my sky router via a Ethernet cable and I am able to view the cameras via the app. However I was wondering if it is possible to view the images on my TV which is in another room via 2 powerline adaptors which I have set up.

Using iMVS-4200. A rather basic question, but I can't see anything in the forum or the Hikvision Help.
How do you configure the client iMVS-4200 to start with the custom view that I've created?
Currently it comes up with the standard 4 image view and I have to manually select my custom view (6 cameras as 1 main image and 5 smaller). That's not a big deal I agree, but most apps have a default startup position.
The word 'default' in the iMVS-4200 only seems to relate to the 4 preset views...
