Infrared stopped displaying - DS-2CD2342WD

I've just had an unsatisfactory attempt at using QVR pro (too slow) on my Qnap TS251A and have gone back to Surveillance Centre.
All is working fine as it used to, except now my infrared stopped displaying on our iPads. Day time is beautiful.
If I drop the video stream to say CIF [MJPEG] then night vision/infrared works but poorer quality. This used work without any adjustment before my QVR Pro experiment.

There are so many different options both inside the camera DS-2CD2342WD and the Qnap...

Hi all could someone please help me I own a Huawei B528 and have some Hikvision CCTV cameras. I'm unable to view the cameras remotely via my phone. I've setup No-IP and been in touch with there support.

IP Address Filtering on NVR DS-7604NI-K1 / 4P(B)

Hi, I've just bought a DS-2CD2347G1-LU from you and I notice it has IP Address Filtering. I can't find the same option on my NVR. Is this feature only available on the newer cameras?
The reason I ask is because my NVR is being spammed by a particular internet IP address and I'd like to be able to block it.

Hi,

I'm looking at purchasing 8 x DS-2CD2346G2-ISU/SL to work with the DS-7608NI-I2/8P.

I have a couple of questions which I hope someone will be able to help me with.

1) Will Acusense work with this NVR?
2) Can the turrent cameras be mounted on the wall without the option mounts DS-1273ZJ-140.
3) If they are wall mountable and the image needs to be rotated with acusense still work?

Hi i have some questions that i want to helped with on remote view 4200 ivms
1.Any version of 4200 ivms that is highly recommended for slow internet speed .my internet speed when ok it up 1.6 mbs maxmum?
2.What is the minimum internet speed for you to do remote vewing smoothly without freezing at times ?
3.Any setting that i need resolution ,framerate,maxbitrate any configuration ?
4.What about the pc you using does it matter ?

Hi,

I have some HikVision DS-2CD2042WD-I
However I'm not really happy with them.

Problems:
- the web view with the outdated video plugin is a joke. With Windows it only works with Internet Explorer and with MacOS only with a very old Seamonkey browser.
- the motion detection triggers all the time without real stuff happening (no matter what sensitivity settings I use)
- the line crossing and intrusion detection doesn't work really reliable and misses events
- I always have problems when I...

Just seeing if anyone else has had any the following problems.

Put the camera in to the highest resolution, when the siren or strobe is activated it returns to a smaller resolution?

I’ve also noticed by setting up the camera in the web view setting Video & Audio to recorded it will work fine but when the siren or strobe is activated the audio stops recording an the setting changes to Video recording. One way I have found to have stopped this is to change the setting in the NVR and not on...

Hi

I have just purchased a HIKVISION DS-2CD2386G2-IU, I have setup the camera via its web browser interface, all seems well. Configured IP addresess etc, evenst work etc...

However I am trying to add it to my NVR (qnap vs-4008pro) and it doesnt seem to detect the camera, when it scans teh network. I have have a mobile app that detects cameras and it doesnt find it eithier. Am i missing a trick? All my other cameras come up when my network is scanned

Do i need to enable something on it...

Hikvision NVR admin password issue - could the NVR have already been configured before?

Hi all,

I setup a hik NVR over the weekend and My understanding was that it should prompt you to setup an admin password first thing.

I wasn’t able to do this, so I ended pressing the little reset button inside the NVR

I was then able to get in and do the rest.

so my question is ... could the NVR have already been configured before?

Trying to access live view or playback in a browser on a Mac. Why is it so hard??

I have 6 Hikvision cameras installed. All working nicely to the NVR.
My only issue is that it is so incredibly hard to view the damned images via a browser!
It always has been and now it seems almost impossible?
I would like playback access from the NVR but nothing on the Mac OS seems to work.
The VMS-i4200 is awful and also doesn't show playback for me.

On Windows IE doesn't work and nor does Edge.

They have always had these issues and there doesn't seem to be an easy solution. I think...

Hi all
I have having real problems with my alerts to my Hik-Connect app for motion triggers on my android, it was working fine for over a year and has recently stopped for no reason, i have reset all the unit to factory, reinstalled the app on my phone but still no luck, I get notifications from one of my work premises but not this one any help would be great. Just really need to get them working ASAP really

I was just about to purchase the second generation intercom system for my home, I'd been dragging my feet for months due to the size of the outdoor unit, despite it being rather ascetically pleasing i also wanted a card reader module so it became a 2 gang unit and there rather large and i felt would look out of place on my front door, this morning i went onto the Hikvision website to check part numbers before i ordered as there is the IP or the 2 wire setup, however i spotted this;

Hello all,

Just recently purchased a PanoVu Series DS-2PT5326IZ-E and wanting to add all 4 camera views to the NVR. I have 10 empty channels so there is plenty of room.
What's the best way to go about getting each different camera view added?
