HELP! After firmware re-install on DS-7208HGHI-SH cannot access

The firmware seemed to load OK, and on Video output + mouse it prompted me to enter a Password twice (onscreen keyboard)... Username was blank and non-enterable.

After it accepted new password, it said it is registered. If I try with Mouse say to get to menu or change camera option it prompts for credentials, but username dropdown is empty no 'admin' - and password on its own does not work.

Tried setting via SADP & iVMS4200 but it shows as Avtive, no IP address, and unable to change to...

Noisy Hikvision DS-7608NXI-I2/8P/4S NVR PSU fan?

Hi guys,
Recently I bought a NVR model DS-7608NXI-I2/8P/4S, but it has a terrible noise from PSU, it is always at maximum RPM.
I use only 2 IP port from total of 8, actually is no heavy energy load on PSU. Hikvision customer center has a silent approach for my question.
Never used Hikvision so far, all NVR have this noisy PSU?

Hi All,

Newbie here so go easy! Just completed my first home CCTV installation, Hikvision DS7608NI-K2/8P and x4 2CD2385G1-I

Cracking bit of kit, minor problem I am having with one camera is down the narrow side of the house the night vision function is poor, I have attached a few photos. Believe the camera was too close to the wall and maybe the light was bouncing back, I moved the camera angle and it was much better but still poor, almost like it hasn’t the depth.

I was just about to purchase the second generation intercom system for my home, I'd been dragging my feet for months due to the size of the outdoor unit, despite it being rather ascetically pleasing i also wanted a card reader module so it became a 2 gang unit and there rather large and i felt would look out of place on my front door, this morning i went onto the Hikvision website to check part numbers before i ordered as there is the IP or the 2 wire setup, however i spotted this;

DS-7204 notifications to Android iVMS-4500 (Samsung) not working

Hi Forum,

I have a hikvision 7204 DVR and using the hikconnect and IVMS 4500 android app but the push notifications dont work on my Samsung S10 but do work on my older Samsung S8, ive tried power mgmt settings, updating software on the apps, checked firmware but the notifications still dont work.

Any ideas?

Remote Connection Options

Hi All

What options would people suggest for remote connections as such to my NVR.

Been having a good look around and been through a number of the sticky posts, I believe I have a few options, app wise the Hik Connect or iVMS 4500 and also dial straight into the NVR from phone / web browser. Both are simple to run on my lan network, but away from home I have a few options as I have a fairly decent aftermarket router (ASUS RT-AC87U)

Im in the UK with virgin as my isp who use dynamic ip...

Hi fellow forumers,

Been advised to always keep the system up to date to ensure that all security bugs are patched. So I have upgraded my DS-7604NI-K1 / 4P(B) from a V3 firmware to V4.30.000 build 200508. I got ColorVu cameras and they come with visible spectrum LEDs. The issue is that they are on all night and 2 of them disturbs my neighbors. On the V3 firmware I could turn them off here:

However on the V4.30 firmware I don't have...

Can I turn off LED light of ColorVu cameras using V4 NVR firmware?

Apple have just released an update to their Safari browser - V12.0

First reports are coming in that with this version of Safari it is no longer possible to view Live Video from your Hikvision cameras.

The latest version of the Mac plugin currently available is V3.0.6.23 (on that landing page click Downloads at the left side; this version is dated Feb 12th 2018) - this is the latest version of the plugin we can find...

Can you help please? . I just want to capture line crossings and intrusions and see the JPEGs on iPhone. Many hours trying! There is a memory card in the camera but I cant see where it is. I do everything through the IE Browser. Hik Connect app is working as far as I can see. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi,
I am considering purchasing DS-2CD2346G2-ISU/SL, but have a couple of questions.

I do not want the siren (or light) to be active during the day, but will want it on during the evening. Therefore,
Can the siren and light be set on a timer, with the other "regular" alerts to my phone set constantly on?

If I can have the siren and light on an independent timer, can you quickly switch that function off via the app?
E.g. if I return home late (i.e. during a period where the siren and light...

Hi, today i upgraded my HiWatch NVR to V4 version ... Everything is fine, everything is working. But there IS something like "PoE management", where i Can choose between "short cable" and "long cable". Im using 50m cat5e cable, and from default, IT IS set Up like short. And its working. What does that mean ? When should i choose "long cable" ? Thanks

Hik-connect IOS App - Favorites giving camera list - not thumbnails

Hi,
I'm using Hik-Connect on IOS (the latest version).
I have a number of different Favourite folders set up.
When I click on any of the folders it brings me in to a list view of the cameras (it's an 'Edit Favourites' view).
If I close and then click again on the same Favourites folder it gives me the 'Camera View'.
It's a real pain as to view my favourites I need to click in, leave and click in again.

This used to work correctly, then it was 'broken' in a previous firmware version, then...

Hi all, I’ve been having issues with this for a while now. Current setup is;

2 x DS-2DE4A425IW-DE
2 x DS-2CD2365G1-I
1 x DS-7604NI-K1(B) 2TB

ISP is Virgin Media 200mb using Superhub 3.0

Cams connected directly to NVR via PoE and on H.265.

One thing I noticed is that after getting this error on the app is that if I try to access the NVR via web browser it will give a network abnormal error. Also, when logging in to the NVR directly it will crash completely.

Smart events not working with AcuSense DS-7608NXI-I2/4S NVR

Hello,

For the moment I have the following configuration:
Two cameras:
- DS-2CD2045FWD-I (firmware: V5.6.3build 190923)
- DS-2CD2145FWD-I (firmware: V5.6.2build 190701)
And one NVR:
- DS-7608NXI-I2/4S (firmware: V4.1.18build 200120), so with AcuSense.

All the settings are made on the NVR web interface.
Everything is working fine: motion detection, line crossing, intrusion...

But when I check the "Enable Smart Analysis" in the Smart Events tab, I can configure a line but nothing happens...

Hi all could someone please help me I own a Huawei B528 and have some Hikvision CCTV cameras. I'm unable to view the cameras remotely via my phone. I've setup No-IP and been in touch with there support.
