Hey everyone,
I have 3 new DS-2CD2410F-IW cameras which I have set up on my network.
My problem with 2 of the new cameras is that when I install a SanDisk or KingStone 64 GB SDXC or 32 GB SDHC, the audible alarm runs continuously and won't shut off until I remove the card. I have disabled all the alarm settings in the alarms sections. Additionally, when I try to format the card, with alarm blaring, the cameras are not recognizing the card.

Hikvision 2124 Config Frustration

I'm using a DS-2CD2142FWD-IS dome camera and it seems like a great product but I'm having one strange and frustrating problem.

I've got the camera working on my network using PoE and talking to my D-Link NAS via FTP. I've also got email notifications working. I've configured motion detection, intrusion detection and line crossing functions working and I receive emails when they trigger.

BUT, my frustration is that the camera will ONLY send pictures to the NAS at night, or more correctly...

I recently logged into my 2 cameras to change the user name and discovered that all the information and selections items are greyed out and I cannot make any changes. I can login to the cameras but cannot make any changes to User page. It looks like I can change the password though.The manual does not seem to address this issue. Both cameras have the user level set as operator and I cannot change that. I also cannot check or uncheck any of boxes in Basic Permission or Camera Configuration. I...

Hi all
wonder if you can help, we have a CCTV system in our house with DVR DS-7208HUHI-F1/N unit, The DVR unit is a small locked cupboard (with ventilation) that has Power, Ethernet ports and also a TV amplifier so we can pick it up on all TVs throughout the house which works perfectly.

What we are struggling with is how to control the DVR unit for playback etc from 3 floors down, if we want to do play back we need to connect up a monitor and use the mouse etc for playback, is there a way...

NVR continous recording with motion detection marks in playback mode?

Hello,

does anybody know how to configure the NVR (DS-7608 NI-I series) to get motion detection marks in playback view while the NVR is on continous recording mode?

On playback mode, i see a blue time mark for continous recording mode - but there are no marks for motion events (but motion detection is activated). The marks would be helpful for searching motion events...

I recently tried to pair my DS-2CD2942F-IS fisheye camera with my DS-7608-K2(8P) NVR. While I can get one main stream video feed w/ a 180 fisheye perspective, I cannot for the life of me use the NVR to give me multiple streams w/ dewarping. Is there any way to get this done successfully or do I have to live with a single fisheye stream forever? Thanks very much for your help!

Hi. I hope someone can help me with this problem. I have a DS-2DE4220IW-D which I use to watch wildlife and it is great camera for what I want it to do. The one problem I have is that I would like to increase the tilt angle as I have it mounted on a 4m pole. When zooming in the camera will not go to a horizontal position and points slightly downwards. When you switch the camera on it goes through its pan and tilt limits and actually tilts almost to the vertical position. I think that...

Hikvision NVR won't detect my IP CAMERAS

I reset to factory default on the NVR (I didnt need the password because I could log into the machine with the pattern login)
- So I am assuming the cameras are still on the old IP network 192.168.0.X with the old password which I dont remember.
Now I have setup a new 192.168.254.X network and cannot see the cameras at all.

Hi All, new user of Hikvision DS-7604NI-K1/4P and 2xDS-2CD2142FWD-IS cameras

Hi I have a couple of query's.
Firstly, I set up the cameras using plugnplay but keep getting an alarm, Ive initially set it up without network connection as I need to run in a cable, is this causing the alarm? How do I check what the alarm is?

I only bought a 1Tb HDD, Ive looked at the time frame calculator and estimate it will last 20 days on continuous, does the HDD just overwrite itself from the first day when...

Hi!

I have been going round in circles and hope someone can highlight where I might have made a misconfiguration.

I have iVMS4200 2.5.1.7 running on a server, which installed v1.2.1 of the Storage server component. Cameras are recording to the storage server and I can playback the recordings.

Outside of the network, I can connect to the external IP of the Storage server on an iphone, using iVMS4500. Remote playback of the recordings works fine.

I cannot get any PC running iVMS4200 to...

hi all
I have just installed some new HikVision stuff all works fine apart from when I connect to the apps on live view I get an error code of 8200, I can view playback fine but live view is becoming a real issue any suggestions on how to sort this? I am using a DS-7208HUHI DVR with DS-2CE56F7T cameras

After a long day I have finally got to DVR viewer and playback to work on Hik-Connect wifi, for some reason I still cannot get the app to work outside of my wifi network any suggestions why? Or a way to solve this everytime it tried to load a image just says connection failed thanks in advance.

Camera disconnected

I have two identical DS-2CD2132-I cameras connected to a Synology NAS. Last week I updated the NAS to the latest version of DSM and Surveillance Station. This immediately caused one of the cameras to become disconnected.

I can still ping the disconnected camera and it is seen by the SADPtool, but I can't log into it. I have contacted Synology and they have said to update the camera firmware, but I can't get into the camera to do it.

Any ideas please?

No Virtual Host setting to choose from.

Good evening,

I have just purchased a new NVR and mini bullet camera.
- DS-7604NI-K1-4P
- DS-2CD2042WS-I 4MM

I'm aware of the virtual host option as the best way to access the camera directly for the extra settings however to my dismay, I am left with nothing to select from and there is no sign of the virtual host function.

Has this been removed from the firmware?
Any advice would be great. I'm just about the purchase a POE injector to allow the camera to plug into my router so hopefully...
