hi all
Has anyone got details on how to set up alarms and triggers?

For example how to set up if a door is opened an alarm is set off or if movement is seen in an area how to turn lights on with its own power source for example flood lights etc

Hi

Please can you help, i tried to update the firmware on my hikvision NVR (DS-7608N-E2/8P) due to the gmail SSL issue. Everything was going well until the device failed to restart. i now get 15 bleeps,

The nvr was purchased via ebay (china) looks like i applied the wrong firmware. Please can i have some help to get the NVR back online.

I have a Hikvision camera that went bad when doing a firmware update.

It appeared to go OK and asked to be rebooted but since reboot it does not get an IP address, I can see it has an IP6 address and Mac address but no way to access it.

I tried HikVision SADP tool but it does not see it either.

So I was wondering if there is some hidden facility to reflash firmware by putting the DAV file on an SD card and pressing some sort of reset button combination?

There must be a way to flash this...

Good evening,

I have just purchased a new NVR and mini bullet camera.
- DS-7604NI-K1-4P
- DS-2CD2042WS-I 4MM

I'm aware of the virtual host option as the best way to access the camera directly for the extra settings however to my dismay, I am left with nothing to select from and there is no sign of the virtual host function.

Has this been removed from the firmware?
Any advice would be great. I'm just about the purchase a POE injector to allow the camera to plug into my router so hopefully...

Today, I got the following on my Hikvision NVR DS-7604NI:

Please click here to download and install the plug-in. Close the browser when installing the plug-in.

So I closed firefox and installed the plug-in. Unfortunately when I restarted firefox, I still get the error. Nothing I do, can get plug-in to install. I've even tried restarting the computer as well.

Anyone else had this recently?

Unfortunately, the time has finally arrived.

As of Mozilla Firefox v52.0 released on March 7th, NPAPI plugins are no longer supported. This means that, much like Google Chrome, Hikvision users will no longer be able to successfully install the web browser plugin required to view their cameras in Firefox.

Has anyone seen this problem with ezviz app installed on android phone not working with WIFI throwing an error message

If I turn off WIFI on the phone it works with not problem with 4G connection

Error message is only happening with WIFI connection

When I open ezviz and I have wifi on I get error message, video play failed, error code 381101

If I turn off wifi and I use 4G it works fine with not error

I want to live view constant from an android but after 5 min it times out, I'm sure this is new as in the past its ran constant but with random drop outs. But now there is actually a message you've viewed live for 5 mins and screen goes blank. Can it be turned off?

Hi

Have tried updating the firmware on my NVR [DS-7604NI-E1 / 4P] which is currently running [V3.2.1, build 150304]
downloaded the latest firmware off the Hikvision Eu portal [V3.4.91build161220] and tried updating using a usb.
I keep getting the error 'upgrading failed, firmware mismatches'
Also tried using an older firmware which gives me the same error, the NVR was purchased as a UK spec

Any help would be appreciated
