Gold morning to all...

i have this NVR: DS-7608NI-E2/8P/A
with firmware: V3.4.0_151103, i can't send any email alert, and sometimes he reboots by himself!
before I had another NVR, the same but wihout /A with firmware V3.4.90_161080
I have 1 questions:
1) DS-7608NI-E2/8P/A or DS-7608NI-E2/8P (whout /A) can use the same firmware?
if yes i can download and install firmware: V3.4.90_161080?

Motion detection

Any hints on getting motion detection to work effectively? I've got an NVR (4 port K series) with 2 cameras. I've tried to set up motion detection, and initially got a continuous stream of events, which appear to be leaves on a bush... I've backed the sensitivity way down, and now I'm not convinced that I'm getting any events. And when an event occurs, I get an alert via iVMS on my phone, but the events never seem to be visible in the NVR web interface, iVMS on a Mac (using search) or even...

I have three DS-2CD2132F-I cameras. I connect for live view etc frequently from either an Android tablet or phone using iVMS-4500. Connectivity is via port forwarding and DDNS.

I also occasionally connect via my Windows PC using iVMS-4200 and the local addresses.

This morning I have a repeat of something I only experienced a month or so ago:

From the tablet, I can connect to live view OK. From my phone I cannot, I get the message "No more user can be logged in". From my PC, I get the...

Viewing via TP Powerline adapters

Hi
My Hikvision dvr is currently wired to my sky router via a Ethernet cable and I am able to view the cameras via the app. However I was wondering if it is possible to view the images on my TV which is in another room via 2 powerline adaptors which I have set up.

I understand that I can't view via a web browser, my NVR is in a different room to the tv and both power line adapters only have Ethernet ports, the only Ethernet port on the NVR is connected to the sky router.

Hi

Please can you help, i tried to update the firmware on my hikvision NVR (DS-7608N-E2/8P) due to the gmail SSL issue. Everything was going well until the device failed to restart. i now get 15 bleeps,

The nvr was purchased via ebay (china) looks like i applied the wrong firmware. Please can i have some help to get the NVR back online.

No Virtual Host setting to choose from.

Good evening,

I have just purchased a new NVR and mini bullet camera.
- DS-7604NI-K1-4P
- DS-2CD2042WS-I 4MM

I'm aware of the virtual host option as the best way to access the camera directly for the extra settings however to my dismay, I am left with nothing to select from and there is no sign of the virtual host function.

Has this been removed from the firmware?
Any advice would be great. I'm just about the purchase a POE injector to allow the camera to plug into my router so hopefully...

HikVision Firmware Update via SD Card

I have a Hikvision camera that went bad when doing a firmware update.

It appeared to go OK and asked to be rebooted but since reboot it does not get an IP address, I can see it has an IP6 address and Mac address but no way to access it.

I tried HikVision SADP tool but it does not see it either.

So I was wondering if there is some hidden facility to reflash firmware by putting the DAV file on an SD card and pressing some sort of reset button combination?

There must be a way to flash this...

Unable to Update WebComponent

Today, I got the following on my Hikvision NVR DS-7604NI:

Please click here to download and install the plug-in. Close the browser when installing the plug-in.

So I closed firefox and installed the plug-in. Unfortunately when I restarted firefox, I still get the error. Nothing I do, can get plug-in to install. I've even tried restarting the computer as well.

Anyone else had this recently?

macOS web plugin

Hi,

Has anyone got the macOS web plugin to work? I did have it working, but no longer. I changed the IP address of the NVR, and also upgraded the firmware, and no joy now. It is fine with iVMS. The versions I'm using are:

macOS: 10.12.3
Safari: 10.0.3
NVR: Hikvision DS-7604NI-K1 / 4P firmware V3.4.90 build 160926
Safari plugin: 3.0.5.43

I've got the live view parameters set to use UDP - with TCP, I get "plugin failed", with UDP just a blank window. There are also constant errors in...
