Hi there I have an ds 7608ni k2/8p which I have set up through my PC and phone, I did have it on my tablet, until I lost everything now since it being replaced I have the software installed looking at PC everything the same but it won't show my camera, can you put me in right direction please

i followed the video instruction and under device managment when I add a device it says the serial number is wrong ,, although I entered the serial number at the back of receiver starting from c1..... 9 digits. My device is offline so I can not access it from Hik connect appp in my mobile. please help solve thisissue

HikVision error: 302 (camera is disabled or not connected)

Connecting to our DS-9664NI-I8 NVR with the iVMS-4200 software on Windows PCs, performance seems to have dipped, causing the software not to connect to the cameras occasionally, giving the error: 302 (camera is disabled or not connected).

We can still see all cameras available via the web interface so that isn't true.

I've installed the software to 3 computers which all worked fine for weeks, and now suddenly we're getting this.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Hi

I was wondering if somebody here has encountered a large scale installation of HIKvision on a building or a factory?
Normally IPCamera's are connected to the NVR's POE port but on some occassions, we need to make use of a
PoE switch if the IPCameras are farther or are needed to be installed someplace else on the establishment.

My question is if there will be a multiple 32-port NVR (for example 3 units) and all these units will be filled with a
Camera, then is there a need to use a...

Hello

I've bought a new NVR on the website the other day but i am struggling to find some little features.

I have two recorders my work one is a DVR DS-7216HQHI-SH and my new one is a NVR DS-7732NI-I4 / 16P

On the new NVR when i go into playback and do a search for motion in a selected area it finds all the motion and puts a green mark on the timeline.
I can't seem to be able move quickly to the next motion( Green Mark).. On the DVR after i search for motion it allows me to click 'next'...

Ivms PC Spec

What spec PC do you guys use for ivms?
Got a client that has 3 shops.
He is based at one of them and he wants to see that shop and the 2 others all one one screen.
I was planning to put a PC at this site and use the group's function to bring them all together but I'm wondering what real world spec I would need the PC to be, not just the minimum spec Hik suggest.
Any suggestions appreciated.

Hey, bought Hikvision DS-2CD2420F-IW camera a week ago in order to monitor my daughter's sleep in her room. Still trying to fight with camera software :) Here are main issues which I face:

- iOs app hangs with a play sign in the middle of screen once in a while. When I click play it shows video again. But WHY does it do that? I mostly use the app to monitor things during whole night and I need to hear what's happening :)
- When I watch video with sound strange click happens after 1-2...

HIK NVR resolution issues

hello, I am new to this forum so hello to all.
I have a hik-vision NVR 104-A/4P and 4 x HiWatch IPC-T140 . I have an issue with showing 4 cameras on same screen, I get "no resource" on one of the screens. Is it possible to reduce the resolution on either and if so will this diminish the quality of the viewing especially at night.

How to Backup from NVR

Hi,

Is there an easy way to backup a certain days worth of footage from a DS-7616NI-I2/16P? The only method i have found is to go to the day of interest, select all cameras and use the "crop" tool to select the time period and then export to a usb device.

Trigger Relay When Door Station Pressed

Hello we need to momentarily close a relay when the door station intercom button is pressed to trigger paging. This is to alert night staff if they dont hear the master station. We can interface at the door station or hikvision DS-KM83012 master station providing we can momentarily close a relay when the intercom button is pressed

I am unsure how to trigger the relay by pressing the door station intercom button as opposed to using alarm inputs.

Hi everyone,

In the last month, I took the plunge and bought a HikVision NVR (DS-7604NI-K1/4P) for home with four G1 Series IP camera's (2x 2355, a 2155 and a 2363). Cabled it all myself and I'm really happy with the results, worth every penny.

Thanks to this forum (megathread mainly), I have managed to get the VCA settings working (line crossing and intrusion detection) working with email alerts and also the IP camera firmware updated to the latest version.

Hi all, I've just wired up a DS-7608NI-K2/8P and a few cameras around my house. The NVR seems to be very loud! It's stored in a converted garage so the sound is not a big problem but was wondering if the loudness was normal for this unit? It sounds tlike the fans are constantly on.
