A client of mine forgot the login password to his HIKVISION DVR
I have tried a lot of tutorials online unfortunately my firmware
version is different.
SN:DS-7108HQHI-F1/N1620150606BBRR80830####WCVU (edited/obscured by admin)
firmware version is 3.4.84 build 170626

I have DVR DS-7104N-F1 with 2 cameras hikvision, I can view my cameras in local network with my pc and my mobile on wifi connection.
But in external network i can't view nothing.

The raison is that the hik-connect is always offline ? I put dev.hik-connect.com as sever is it correct ?

Can you help me please

Hikvision ANPR issue

Hi
my customer has reported an issue where the camera doesn't always record Vehicles entering and leaving normally the later.
the other thing ive noticed is , when you and group of cars quite close it repeats the middle number plate even when you can see the correct number plate.
the camera in place is
Hikvision DS-2CD4A26FWD-IZHS
i'm assuming that it could be a case of tweaking something .

Hi,

I've got a DS-2CD2142FWD-I on my home network, it's the only camera I have.
  • Not using a DVR, camera isn't set to record
  • Gigabit network, using PoE
  • Using Hik-Connect for DDNS and the Hik-Connect app on the iPhone
The main stream seems to randomly switch from 2688*1520 down to 1280*720P and a decent framerate and bitrate down to 10fps, and 512Kpbs.

If I change it to what I want it seems to "save" OK and live view looks great. Then a day or two later I notice that...

Hello. I have a DS-7716NI-E4/16P which has become incredibly noisy this morning. I'm guessing it's a couple of years old. Is there an easy way to fix it?
Would you suggest it is worthwhile to call in a technician to repair it?

I have a turret hikvision DS-2CD2342WD.I firmware v5.4.5 24/01/17 and have no password have tried the reset calculators online & emailed hikvision but had no reply also has no reset inside unless I have missed it? Any help would be appreciated.

Hi all
I have my large building yard I need to cover the area with CCTV due to issues, I am looking at the HikVision Turbo Coax range, due to the distance between the recording unit and some of the cameras it will be quite straight forward I am looking at the following, some of the cameras are going to be fitted to upright poles on a mount and others on the building would you recommend dome cameras or turret?

Jerky live view

Hi, newbie to the cctv setup! I currently have a hikvision nvr DS-7604NI-K1/4P(B) and 1 SecuPlug + SP-MG03AR-5.0MP camera, when watching live view from nvr via hdmi to tv , I seem to be getting a 2-3 second delay and when a car go,s past it seems jerky? An ideas what setting i should configure? Thanks
