Noisy fan hikvision NVR solved with silent power bricks

Like many other threads on here, I found my new DS-7608NI-K2-8P unbearably loud. It has a channel well technologies PSU (KSA-180S2) with a 12v 5A rail, a 52v 2.5A rail and a really noisy 40mm fan, and then a second not-quite-as-noisy 40mm fan on the case.

Everyone has a different sensitivity to this sort of a noise so I've seen some people say it's fine, and that's great for them. But mine was shut in a thick walled cupboard with a heavy tight-fitting door, and it would still be loud...

Hello I have DS-7608NI-K2/8p this is very noisy. Is there a quieter NVR I can buy ( separately am trying to fit quieter fans ) or is there a newer one that lower noise output ?

iVMS-4200 Error Code - Could someone please help!

Hi

When I launch ivms-4200 on the laptop the software runs okay but constantly in the lower right corner of the laptop screen receiving a pop-up message as follows:

'Error code
OpenSDK[310002].
(AccessToken exception or
is expired. Log in to the Hik
Connect account again.)'

I opened my browser and opened up the hik-connect.com address and logged in, but I still receive the message.

Confused ???

Hello, I hope you can help/advise.

I purchased a number of HIK turret cameras a few weeks ago.

I’ve only just got round to starting to install them over Christmas. The first camera is now up and running but I’ve noticed that when it got dark outside the lens has fogged up...

Hello everyone,

I recently bought a Hikvision Villa Door Station Intercom (DS-KV8202-IM).My goal is to connect it with Hik-connect so i can open/answer remotely from wherever i am(at least thats what i assume hik connect does).After i went through the procedure of activating the devices, setup etc I couldn't get it to work and the reason was i hadn't bought a hikvision Indoor station monitor as they told me, i said ok, is a 3 floor house so i wasn't planning of buying an indoor station...

Help with adding a 4th turbo HD camera

Hi I have a Hikvision 7200 and 3 cameras which have worked great for the past year, however I am trying to add a 4th camera (turbo HD not IP camera). There is definitely power to the camera but everything I try just says no video. The camera I am adding is a Ds-2CE56H1t-1t3z. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I have checked the cables and different connections on the NVR unit.

Hi guys,

I recently purchased a Hikvision NVR-104M-A/4P network video recorder which was stated as new on ebay.

Thought I would check for any firmware updates that are availble and update it but can't find any information on this model at all.

I cannot find this model in the manual either so not sure if this comes under a different model number?

Also after reading about issues with grey imported Hikvision equipment I decided to check the serial number of this and the country code comes...

Hello,

New to these forums. I hope someone might help with the following query?

I have just set-up a HiWatch NVR-104-A / 4P from amazon.co.uk. It works fine.

It's Firmware Version is V3.4.91 build 170630. My query is: is that the latest firmware for this NVR?

I've looked on the various HikVision sites for firmware for this model of NVR and there seems to be none.

Am I being too optimistic in hoping for firmware repositories for this low-end consumer NVR?

The manual is clear that the NVR should be cleanly shut down before switching off, but there's no way I can see to do this without an attached monitor - which I don't have. All of the remote access methods have no option for shutdown. I did find an option to switch on ssh access, which would be perfect - but although this seems to start an ssh server, I've not managed to actually log in this way - always getting Permission denied. Does anyone know how to make ssh work properly, or any way to...

Hikvision port forward PLEASE HELP

Hi all,

I’m going crazy trying to sort out the port forwarding on this CCTV system.
All cameras are available to view on the app when on the home wireless Internet however when you move to data only the cameras appear off-line which I believe is to do with port forwarding.
I have opened up ports 88, 8000 443 and 554 which I believe are the correct ones and used ‘can you see me’ to confirm that this is open which it is.

What else is wrong??????? Still nothing!!

If anyone can offer...

Hi All


has anyone used the corner mount bracket I have tried to install one a few times with the supplied nuts and end up giving up and using others it seems to be the below steps

1) mark the holes based on putting the bracket in place
2) drill holes
3) insert bolts leaving last bit out
4) place bracket over these and screw bolts on

when I try this the bracket won't go over the bolts as its to tight however if I try to put them on prior to inserting into the hole they also miss. The...

Hi Everyone,

I have a Hikvision system using 3 DS-2CD2232 cameras and a IPC-B640-Z vari focal camera. My problem is on the vari focal (which has far more image adjustment options) I cannot get a decent image of a face at night (from approx 10 metres). It's not a totally dark street, there is ambient light from various places. I stood my daughter out there last night to give me an opportunity to play with the camera settings. I've replaced a failed Qvis DVR with a replacement Hikvision 7208HUHI-K1, and one new Hikvision camera.

I plan to replace the other cameras over time.

Trying to get Intrusion detection and getting alot of noise.

Seeing and reading lots of conflicting information on what the parameters can be for this setting so getting a little confused.

I understand that I need to have VCA enabled for the cameras' that I wish to use with intrustion detection.

I think that you can only do this directly...
