Cant see 1 camera on mobile

Hi I have 4 hikvision camera 3 show fine on my mobile phone but 1 always just buffers never comes on
I can view it fine on the nvr screen any thoughts

On My Hik vision DVNR aftersoo long the option for Image & Video Encryption re enables its self even though i disable it via my phone and on the DNVR.

Can i permanently disable this option ?

i was playing with email settings and all of a sudden the address changed to something like localhost:xxxx
i could not get into the camera anymore, i had to power cycle the camera to get it to work gain.

Min and max size on intrusion/line crossing

I've got a 7608NI-I2/82 on FW 4.1.63. Today I was fooling around with the minimum and maximum size settings in both intrusion detection and line crossing in an attempt to reduce false alarms from cats, possums, motion lights at night, etc. Has anyone used these settings with success? Seems like these settings have more potential for fine tuning than the sensitivity and threshold settings for this purpose.

I just purchased 2 more Hikvision DS-2CD2042WD-I 4MP HD cameras to match the one I have working already. I plugged them into my main, 24 port switch downstairs and configured each of them with unique IP addresses. I am also using injectors to power these POE. I was able to see them fine on both the SADP setup tool and in Blue Iris. Then, I moved them to another remote switch upstairs that I want to permanently attach them to. They power up fine but do not communicate with either SADP or Blue...

Hi,

Since this NVR has port at the back, does it mean i need to directly plug the IP camera there? some of my IP cameras have multiple switch hops via fiber.

Internet Bandwidth

Hello,

I am considering the purchase of a few Hikvision IP cameras and an 8 channel network DVR for a recreational vehicle park. We have a wireless broadband Internet connection with 2Mbps up, 20 Mbps down. Wondering if the upstream bandwidth will be sufficient to view video streams remotely and manage the DVR settings.

Any thoughts as to how well this may work (or not)?

Hikvision snapshot size 6MP camera

Hello,
have a 6MP camera 2CD2463G0-IW
the camera is set to 6MP 3072-2048.
The snapshots attached to the email are however 1200x900
i can not find any setting to change this.
Is this default for attached snapshots?
will the triggerd by event setting perhaps overrule this resolution.?
i can probably make snapshots locally and send those but i like to do it without internal storage

I have recently purchased a DS-7608NI-I2-8P nvr and DS-2CD2383G0-I camera from useIP.

My plan is a new HikVision system at home, but I want to reuse my old NVR (Vortec 8ch POE) at the in-laws with new HikVision cameras. Currently trying to add the HikVision camera to the Vortec NVR to sort any issues whilst its still running.

The Vortec NVR finds the HikVision camera but doesn't accept my HikVision user and password (that I know are correct.) I have the camera working on HikConnect...

Hikvision ANPR upload Video event

I have an Hikvision DS-2CD4A26FWD-IZS/P - which has ANPR facilities. I have got it configured so when a number plate is identified it will upload a picture of the vehicle to an FTP server - this has been working great. However I would like to get it to also upload a short video 5 secs before and after the picture is taken and upload it via FTP. Is hsi possible, I have had a look at the events in the web console but nothing jumps out at tme on how to do this. Any help would be much...

Hi
I have got an odd error in IVMS-4200 and was wondering if anyone else has the same error or any ideas where I can look.

I have a DS-2CD2325FWD-I connected to a DS-7332HGHI-SH. I can use live view from the web interface on the NVR but when I connect IVMS-4200 to the NVR and view the video, I get IP Camera1 Failed to get stream, start reconnection. Error code HCNetSDK.dll[2](Not permission. The registered user has no permission for the operation).

I have tried factory reset of the camera...

NVR: DS-7608NI-E2 / 8P/A – V3.4.96 build 170921
Cameras: DS-2CD2142FWD-I-4MM (4 off) – Default firmware from 2016

Hope you guys can help and great forum :)

We had 2-3 power cuts in quick succession (no UPS!!) and when I checked my cameras a few hours later I got nothing on my devices, connection failed.

I went to the NVR and it was asking for a new password and to confirm the password and also for a camera activation password. I upgraded to 3.4.96 about a year ago and never...

Swapping two cameras

I'd like to swap a 6mm cam in my garage ("Garage Cam") for the 4mm cam in my backyard ("Backyard Cam"). I think the coverage will be better at each position after the swap. Couple of questions:

Is this a simple matter of powering down the system, swapping the cameras, and powering the system back up?

Or:

Will I need to do anything else, such as resetting the cameras prior to the swap and start fresh?

I also don't know if each camera's settings follow the camera, or do those settings...
