Hi everyone hope some one can be of assistance, I have a Hikvision DS-2CD2342WD-I camera and have set it up over my LAN. My problems start when i try to set it up to use remotely, Have tried a Hikvision dnns but it keeps coming up with device not found. I then tried to set up with my dyndns service. I have forwarded port 80 renamed to 801, but again comes up with not able to connect to server. I am truly lost now hope someone can give a step by step installation guide to allow viewing of...

I am tying to using the usb readyshare part of my router. It seems to have entered correctly but upon carrying out a test i get this message "Mounting to NAS server failed. Invalid directory or incorrect user name/password." any assistance would be appreciated

Recently purchased a 4mp dome for my Hikvision NVR:
Camera model is DS-2CD2742FWD-IZS
Camera firmware is V5.3.8 build 151224
NVR model is DS-7608NI-E2 / 8P
NVR firmware is V3.4.62 build 160503
Really want to take advantage of the H.264+ encoding and compression to save some bandwidth on the NVR and the associated storage savings, been quite impressed with the impact that H.264+ has.

OSD Settings - Save Failure - Invalid Parameter

I am trying to turn off the overlay under Images > OSD Settings

However each save renders - Invalid Parameter

How can I fix this? I am using the latest firmware. The overlay is annoy because BI picks it up as movement.

I use a dvr DS-7332HGHI-SH,a ptz camera DS-7230TI-A 2mp and a DS-1000KI keyboard.I read the instructions about keyboard to control the ptz camera from dvr,without the RS-485.As you will see in photos i used the KB ports D+,D-. As i read in keyboard's manual i should connect :
From keyboard,"DVR CON" the Ta port with dvrs D+ port in KB,and Tb with D- port in KB.

Upgrade NVR firmware

I have 7616ni-se/p NVR. I bought NVR with 8 cameras only. Everything is working fine.
Last a few days, I bought 3 more ip cameras, but cannot add those ip cameras to NVR.
Hikvision NVR firmware is 3.0.9.
Hikvision New ip camera firmware is 5.4.1.
I would like to upgrade NVR firmware , or can downgrade ip camera firmware? Plz advice me. Thanks in advance.

Evening all,
New to the site and new to CCTV systems in general.
I recently installed a Hikvision NVR and 4 dome cameras, 3 of which seem to work brilliantly. One of the cameras however seems to be playing up...please see attache short video of the issue



The images, both live and recorded, seem to flash light/dark. During the daytime especially, it does this every few minutes, at night time it seems to do it when it detects movement. The camera in question is...

Unable to access Webpage..

We've got a DS-7616NI which has been working fine. I've just tried to access the webpage from different locations and get "the web page can not be displayed". I'm still able to access the device from my phone using the iVMS-4500 client and see the cameras and images, it's just the webpage that will not display. I've had this before and the only solution was to reboot the NVR.
I'm able to ping the NVR and it's can access from outside of our network - really strange.
It's running v3.4.2...
