Problem with Port 80 and remote playback on HiKVision

Hi
Would appreciate some help
Have the HiKVision DS-7208HWI-SH system with 8 camera. Normal playback and playback on phone via app is working fine
System has been in 2 years
BUT I needed to try to see footage from earlier in the day today due to a security issue and found a number of problems:
Trying to log into the desktop ivms4200 application I get the error "the port 80 is occupied by system......4"
I never had this error before and wonder if it is something to do with having installed...

One of the best features of an IP camera is the ability to simply view it within your browser. Unfortunately in order to do this though, you need a plug-in called web components. When you try to view your cameras on PC you are prompted with a message notifying you that you need to download the plug-in, however on a Mac, there is no such notification leading users to believe that their Hikvision cameras are faulty or possible not compatible.

Accessing the Hikvision CS-C3C-31WFR via wifi

I recently bought the above camera and have a hard time figuring out how to access it via wifi.
The camera cannot be reached via the browser, only through iVSM-4200 or SADP tool when connected by ethernet cable.
With most IP CAMs, you can usually discover the cameras with IP finder programs to get the IP address, port, etc, but not this one. This camera can use the EZVIZ cloud server. However, I much prefer using DDNS like I usually do with other cameras.
Any ideas?

Help please.

I have my new system up and running. Getting to speed with everything but I'm having issues with the 3G/4g viewing.
I get an error code 8200.
The the ports have been forwarded and are open.
The app recognise I only have two camera but won't live view.
It will however let me playback???
It works fine in the wifi!

What am I doing wrong?

Hi all, I have a few hikvision cameras which all require firmware update (purchased in 2012 - never been updated). An example of the models is DS-2CD7133-e (mini dome). Does anyone have any advice on how this can be achieved? I have read through the forums and tried a couple of firmware revisions but they fail to update (noted in the 2CD-2xxxx forum thread for firmware). The current firmware is a 2.xx revision.

Is updating possible? I'm in Australia and have looked around but these cameras...

Hello. So i just bought those hikvision cameras.

Some of them has to be rotatet so that the picture looks right, and not sideways.

But when i turn this rotate button on the picture looks very bad...

I have attached some pictures, with and without rotate.

HDD error and motion detection

Hi,
I got 2 questions for the forum, hope someone can help. I have an Hikvision DS-2DE2204IW-DE3 connected to a NAS as storage. Now I got in 2 different occasions a lot of HDD error emails. One saying EVENT TYPE: HDD 1 Error and the other EVENT TYPE: HDD 9 Error. Does anyone know what are 1 and 9 for codes? What kind of error are they?
The second question is how do I avoid the camera to send motion detection email when there is a change in the ambient light? Right I get every night a bunch...

I bought some AHD cameras from China.
When I connect to Hikvision DS 7208HQHI-F1 DVR, just can see black &white colour. Hikvision DVR have. Check box to choose Turbo, AHD and IP.
Plz give me advice, thanks in advance.

I recently bought a hikvision camera and i am having trouble with:
1. how to record on SD card
2. how to record on 1VMS-4200 software using motion detect
3. how to enable/use the microphone feature
i tried watching youtube videos and everything but i am not able to record on my SD card or on the software.
i have uploaded some pictures. please tell me if i did it right, i did all this by following videos on youtube but when some one goes infront of the camera the motion detection icon does...

Hi all,

Just a quick update to let you know that currently there seems to be an issue with some versions of OSX and Safari that are causing the Live View and Playback of a Hikvision NVR to fail when connecting to it via Safari. When attempting to initiate either, an error message will appear in the bottom right stating that Live View failed or Playback failed depending on what you're trying to access.

This is likely to be as a result of a Safari or OSX update causing compatibility issues...

Hey guys,

I've bought an Hikvision NVR DS-7116NI-SN/P, with firmware V2.3.6 build 131120.
After many hours, I've succeeded to configure the EMail, and EMail test is going great and sending me emails.

I've tried to configure motion alarms by Emails, and to attach an HDD and failed with both of them.
In Motion detection tab - I've defined motion detection area and marked 'Notify Surveillance Center' and 'Send Email' but nothing, I'm dancing...

Access an IP camera's web interface via an nvr?

Hi,
I have a DS-7608NI-E2 nvr connected to a DS-2DE5220I-AE camera. I had the camera first and configured various scanning patterns via its web interface. Unless I'm missing something the configuration options in the nvr are limited.
I'm not happy with the scanning patterns of the camera and wondered if I could access the camera's settings directly with it still connected to the nvr?
The IP of the camera had to be changed when i connected it to the nvr.
The nvr is a 192.168* address whilst...

Hi

Please can you help, i tried to update the firmware on my hikvision NVR (DS-7608N-E2/8P) due to the gmail SSL issue. Everything was going well until the device failed to restart. i now get 15 bleeps,

The nvr was purchased via ebay (china) looks like i applied the wrong firmware. Please can i have some help to get the NVR back online.
