ivms-4500 HD v3.4.3 update - "no more user can be logged in" error

Hi,
ivms-4500 HD updated on my Android today to v3.4.3. I can now only access one of my three cams. Two give the error "no more user can be logged in". I have tried removing the config for one of these cams and reading but the same issue persists.
Anyone else having this?

upgrade path for DS-2CD2132-I

Hello,

I've got a DS-2CD2132-I which is running firmware V5.0.2 130805. I'd like to upgrade it to the latest version but wanted to check if I can go straight to V5.4.0 or if I have to go through other updates.
Any advice and links to files that I'd need would be very appreciated.

Hi,

We have set up a new system shiny and waiting to be used, but not quite sure how to finish it all off - installer is pretty old school, so didn't realise there had been changes to security/password requirements etc. Meaning we're in a bit of a pickle...

NVR is on V3.4.6 (according to SADP)
Three dome cameras DS-2CD214... are on 5.3.8
New bullet camera DS-2CD3T45 is apparently newer?

Hi to all,
I would appreciate someone to help me here below because I lost already 4 days trying to fix the issue.
I have 9 cameras managed by a DS - 7208HGHI-SH HKVISION
8 are analogic in the class 2CE16C
1 is IP 2CD 1202

All works fine with HVISION tools
For fun, I am trying to configure Surveillance station Station with my Synology NAS 916+The IP Camera 2CD 1202 works fine in Surveillance station

Record IP Camera on multiple NVR's

I have 2 x Hikvision DSxxni-i8 NVR's.
I would like to connect some of my Hik IP cameras to both NVR's at the same time for 2 reasons
1) As a backup recording
2) So that the cameras are available to view on monitors attached to both NVR’s. In this instance I do not want to record on the second NVR but just view.
I have tried adding a camera to both NVR's but one of the NVR's displays an error. Is there any way to do this?

Hello,

I need to have RAID 5 for three IP cameras with 2MP /15fps /6000Kbps resolution .
The duration of total record time that i need is 458 hours (19-20 days).
How can i calculate the capacity that i need for this?
I know that for raid 5 ,i need minimum 3 hdd and to calculate capacity use type
(N-1)*M
But how can calculate days?with disk calculator disk tool of hikvision?

how to Play videos stored on HIKVISION NVR by VLC ?

I have Hikvision NVR.
Model no. : DS-9632NI-ST

And it is recording and storing camera footage. So what is want to do is, to play videos (from a specified time) stored on this NVR through VLC Player on a Linux computer which is in the same network as NVR.

Though I can play these videos by logging on to the NVR IP address.

But it is not efficient way for my problem. I really need to play videos on VLC.

I want to play video recorded on NVR. I dont want to get Live Stream of Camera...

SMTP issue - DS-7716N-E4/16P

I seem to have som weird issue with my network.
In the end of July I stopped getting notification emails. I had a 7108 NVR then but upgraded to a 7716 last week.
I cannot get the email notification to work. Even called my ISP to check if they blocked me or something.
I do NOT use google gmail for outgoing emails.
I have two different SMTP providers that I pay for but none of them work from the NVR. The accounts work from my PC if I put them in i.e Outlook etc.
I only get the "Email test...

Hi.
I would like to ask for your suggestion guys. If there will be 8 IPCameras installed
and the recording option is stored to a NAS, I have a few inquiries.

1-Should I create a different username for each IPCamera?
2-Should the recording for each IPCameras be on a different folder?
3-How to set the IPCam to auto delete older recorded videos?
I haven't tried this since I have no NAS on hand yet and I was hoping maybe some of
the users here are experienced using NAS as a recording storage....

We're asked quite frequently what the RTSP URLs are for Hikvision cameras, in order to use a program like VLC to decode the stream directly from the camera, or perhaps to instead embed the stream into a web page.

Many VMS programs require you manually add the RTSP stream from the camera, in which case you'll need to know Hikvision's RTSP format.

Hi, I have 2 hikvision ip cameras (DS-2CD2142FWD & DS-2CD2432F set up for my business. I have them set up to record events on to the installed SD card. I also have them set up to view from home and I was wondering if there was a way to have the camera's record events to my home network hard drive?

I have had a look on the forums but don't think I am searching the right keywords.
